Congratulations to Christina and Kevin! They tied the knot at one of our favorite venues, the Quidnessett Country Club.  Everyone enjoyed the newly renovated ballroom at Quidnessett Country Club as they danced the night away with the newlyweds. Christina and Kevin had a beautiful celebration for the next chapter of their lives together. We were all honestly surprised that it rained the way it did during their wedding day – in our 19 years of photographing weddings, we’ve rarely seen days where the rain does not stop. But, Christina and Kevin were just full of happiness and love, they didn’t even care. This is exactly the way it should be: “don’t rain on my parade”! They trusted their incredible vendor team to pull off a stunning day regardless of the weather – and we did! We’re also thrilled that Chrstina and Kevin got some incredible dramatic rainy portraits uniquely for them, with some extra fun stories to go along with their “behind the scenes fun in the rain”. Congratulations again, to the new Mr. and Mrs.!

Quidnessett Country Club Weddings

Located in North Kingstown, Quidnessett Country Club is a wedding venue for those couples who want a classic and elegant feel to their wedding reception. With beautiful outdoor spaces for your ceremony and lovely ballroom for the reception, there’s options for whatever celebration you’re dreaming of. They recently renovated the indoor ballroom, so it’s even more beautiful than before! Quidnessett Country Club is a great option close to Providence and East Greenwich, RI, making it easy for guests to get into town – and find places to stay. We’re all about making it easy for your special guests!

A Tip for Our Couples…

We know that it’s no fun to talk about the rain when you’re planning the perfect day, but as Christina and Kevin proved… It’s important to have a Plan B. You never know when the weather’s going to act up, so work with your vendors to create a rain plan. It’s important to know what your day will look like in the event of bad weather. Honestly, even though it stinks, try to enjoy the weather. Know that you’re going to have to move some portraits indoors if it rains… and be BRAVE for your couples portraits. If you’re willing to trust your photographer, you’ll be surprised at the kind of art you can create with rainy wedding portraits!

Behind The Camera

Sara Zarrella

Owner & lead photo novelist

Nice to meet you! I’m a pint-sized (frequently caffeinated) fireball of energy, and building genuine connections is at the heart of everything I do. One of the most meaningful parts of what we do is watching our couples go from “I do” to starting families, then returning for newborn and family photography, and even branding sessions as their lives and businesses grow. Being part of every season of your story is truly the heart of what we do.
