Robin and David are married! The new Dr. and Mrs. tied the knot last fall in an intimate wedding at the Glen Manor House in Portsmouth, RI. Their entire celebration felt elegant – yet small and festive. It was definitely the perfect way for Robin and David to start their marriage together! We’re so happy we were able to be with Robin and David as they celebrated the blending of their families and the start of married life. Congratulations!
Glen Manor House Weddings
Glen Manor House is a historic manor on the water in Portsmouth RI. It’s grand, it’s full of memories, and truly stunning. We love that there’s no formal ballroom, so reception and dinner tables are generally split between the rooms of the house. It’s such a fun twist on how receptions are typically set up! With beautiful gardens and a historic house, this venue is like something out of a fairy tale!
A Tip for Our Couples…
After Jewish ceremonies, it’s tradition to take a moment for yourselves. The tradition, Yichud (“seclusion” in Hebrew), is so special. This gives the couple the chance to enjoy a few moments of privacy for the first time as husband and wife before all the partying begins. Sometimes, we see couples skip this slow down on their wedding days. But, we’re here to encourage you to sprinkle a few of your culture’s traditions throughout your celebration. Choose the ones that mean the most to you and work them into your wedding day. There’s something so meaningful to those moments!
