I met up with Rob and Sarah at my studio to do their engagement shoot! While Sarah was getting her makeup done, I sat down and got to know Robert better. He told me that they met each other on Match.com, and formally met in Providence at a pizza place. When they met, sparks flew and as they began to get to know each other better, they realize that they had something special.

Unfortunately for their relationship, their time was cut short when Rob had to travel overseas for duty as he’s in the navy. Before Rob left though, he bought Sarah a dog to keep her company for when he was gone. She was totally surprised, and Rob suggested that they go for a walk to the park down the road with the puppy. As they walked, they chatted about their futures, and they both sat down on a bench in the park. That was when Rob popped the question, and of course, Sarah said yes!

Seeing how true their love was and the endurance they faced while Rob was overseas was so truly refreshing for me! We went out to a beautiful farm with the gorgeous snow surrounding us to take pictures, and it was the perfect setup for the lovely couple. While we were out there, I got to really get to know Rob and Sarah, and I’m so glad I did! We trotted around on the snowy paths, and they even jumped into the snow for a few shots!
