Happy Anniversary, Amanda and Andrew!

We met the happy couple two years before their big day, when they booked us to photograph their engagement session and their wedding day! It was great to get to know them and be part of the planning process. 🙂

About a year before the wedding, we had their engagement session at The Cliff Walk in Newport Rhode Island, in the Salve Regina area. These two are really fun and laid back – and super excited about their wedding! We’ve been so happy to be part of their team for their wedding day.

The big day was filled with little fairytale-themed elements for this Disney-loving couple. They even got engaged and honeymooned at Disney!

The morning started with Sara meeting Amanda at her home, where we got some fun shots as she got ready to meet her groom, before heading off to Our Lady of Fatima church in New Bedford, MA.

At the church, their romantic, fairytale wedding commenced! The priest who performed the ceremony clearly knew the couple, because it was a very personal ceremony, with lots of jokes and stories about them. The priest even took a picture with his phone and said, “Let me be the first to Facebook you as husband and wife”! So cute! After saying their “I Dos”, Andrew dipped his bride and they headed back down the aisle on their custom runner that read, “Today begins our happily ever after”. 🙂  Can we say FAIRYTALE!

After stopping on Ocean Drive in Newport Rhode Island for some photos, we headed to OceanCliff in Newport Rhode Island for the reception. The fairytale continued with a perfect-for-them evening – complete with a Cinderella cake and a slide show of them enjoying Walt Disney World!

It was a perfect, beautiful day – we ended the evening with some fantastic sunset shots. 🙂
