Kimberli and Tony’s relaxed beach-inspired intimate backyard wedding was a truly emotional and beautiful affair! Thanks to Events by Chrissie Sue for helping us become part of the incredible vendor team for these two! Kimberli and Tony planned an intimate wedding day at their home in Franklin, MA to celebrate their marriage. In fact, they actually held TWO weddings on the same day at their home! In the morning, they had their family attend the ceremony and reception. Then a flip of decor and they held an afternoon wedding for their friends. This allowed them to have everyone involved, despite the restrictions in the state. It was a TON of fun and really beautiful to watch them get married twice!
One of the things we loved the most about Kimberli and Tony’s wedding day was how they truly made it personalize to them. Not only did they work hard on their spaces at home to welcome their guests, but they chose details that spoke to them. For Kimberli, that meant a magical ombre wedding dress and dragonfly accessories to honor her late son. We know he was with us, as there were a ton of dragonflies flying around all day. We absolutely love when our couples follow their hearts when it comes to their day’s inspiration!
Intimate Backyard Wedding
Think outside the box. Work with the restrictions and be creative. Kimberli and Tony, did not want to cut their guest list, so they adapted. As many couples make the decision to downsize their weddings, we want to encourage them to think about a backyard wedding! These at-home wedding days can be truly intimate and charming! Whether it’s your home or your family’s, we just LOVE private events like this!! There’s something really special about getting ready and committing yourself to each other at your home! Can’t you just imagine how romantic that is?
A Tip for Our Couples…
Now more than ever, we want to encourage our couples to BE CREATIVE when it comes to their wedding day! Like Kimberli and Tony, you could have multiple events. Or have a mini version of your big wedding day. Maybe you want to do something fun, like add a Photo Booth since we can’t have all the dancing we might usually have! Find ways to have fun, even with a smaller wedding day. There’s so many great ways to bring some fun to your special day. If you need help adding creative or special touches to your wedding day, let’s talk! We LOVE helping our clients find the perfect touches for their wedding days!
