Nina & Terence | Weekapaug Golf Club Wedding

Nina and Terence had a gorgeous Weekapaug Golf Club in Westerly Rhode Island wedding this fall and we were so honored to be a part of it! When we arrived to meet Nina and Terence for the start of their big day, they were getting ready together. We absolutely loved this non-traditional spin on getting ready! It was such a nice way to start the day, together. We made sure to capture portraits of Nina with their cats, and their dogs even made an appearance for some photos, too!

A Tip for Our Couples…

We’ve said it before, but we’ll say it again: your wedding day is about YOU. Weddings aren’t one size fits all. Think outside the box when it comes to your special day and do what feels right for you. If that’s getting ready together at home, do it! It’s romantic! If you prefer something more traditional, there’s nothing wrong with that option either – first looks can be so special. Nina and Terence focused on the parts of their day that really mattered to them and let their choices (and budget!) reflect that. Enjoy a big cocktail hour instead of a dinner. Hire the photographer you love and forgo a big bridal party! Whatever the decision, know that you made it because it will allow you to focus on your marriage and celebrating in a way that’s meaningful to the two of you!
