Vanessa & Charlie | Regatta Place Wedding

Vanessa and Charlie’s gorgeous September Regatta Place in Newport, Rhode Island wedding day was full of sweet surprises. It’s definitely one we’ll remember forever! To start the day, Vanessa and Charlie got ready with their friends and family. After prepping at the Wyndham Newport Hotel, Vanessa and Charlie had a romantic first look. We just love the way first looks make a wedding day feel even longer and more special. Who doesn’t want more time with their (almost) spouse?! After their first look, it was time to head to Brenton Point for more portraits of the soon-to-be newlyweds and their bridal party. It was the perfect spot for a fall wedding day!

None of that was too surprising for us, but, what made Vanessa and Charlie’s wedding day super memorable was the fireworks (that no one knew about). Yes, you read that right!!! All of a sudden, we heard a big boom and jumped up. Turns out, Belle Mer on Goat Island in Newport Rhode Island had a wedding that night too with a firework ending. We acted quickly, grabbing Vanessa and Charlie to go outside. It was a special and exciting addition to their portraits!
