Sarah and Brian’s big day was May 21, 2011.  At their engagement session on a cold day last fall, I learned about how they met and captured some great shots that really showcased their love.

Kirkbrae Country Club was where they chose to celebrate with their family and friends after the ceremony outside at the tent – performed by Mike at Heavenly Weddings.  Sarah and Brian are so cute and very funny. 🙂  They met in high school and they have a close knit group of friends who were happy to be there with them, celebrating their day.

The reception featured a slide show of the happy couple, from when they were babies to their engagement.  Brian’s brother and best man, Tim, gave a beautiful speech filled with humor and sentiment – one of the best speeches I’ve ever heard!  Sarah’s father also gave a lovely speech and talked about the pink hankerchief he carried in honor of Sarah.  Turns out that before she was born, her parents didn’t know if she was a boy or girl.  That day when her father went into his closet, something told him to choose a pink shirt. 🙂
