Sarah and Robert’s big day was May 29, 2011. They tied the knot at a beautiful cathedral, and celebrated afterwards at the Renaissance Hotel in Providence. The wedding had a real city feel, with pictures taken at the State House, and a special appearance by Jack Nicholson!
Jack was a guest speaker at the Brown University graduation that weekend, and was staying at the hotel. As he was leaving, we were walking out to get into the Rolls Royce. Sarah’s dad asked Jack if he would be willing to take a picture with Sarah – and he did!
We shot Sarah and Robert’s engagement session in the snow last winter, and I could see then how fun they are and how much love there is between the two of them. The pictures came out great, and they ordered a 9 Hole Collage to hang on their wall at home. 🙂
This reception was so fun and unique. They took dance lessons and did a cute choreographed dance for their guests, which they loved! They had a cool cupcake tower instead of a cake, flowers by Golden Gate Studios a martini bar dessert bar and had a photobooth – which is always a big hit!
