Happy Anniversary, Rebecca and Scott!

Rebecca and I went to the same high school, and I was so honored when she called to ask me to photograph her wedding to Scott. I was even more thrilled when I found out it was to be on Block Island, which is so near and dear to me. I wouldn’t have rather been anywhere else on that day then with them on The Block celebrating. 🙂

I met Rebecca at the house she rented, where she was getting ready with her sisters. Yes, they got married on the beach – but Rebecca also wore a beautiful, glamorous dress that fit her perfectly. It was so Rebecca – what beautiful contrast of her on the beach with her beautiful sparkle from her wedding gown. She was gorgeous! Pure perfection!

Everyone kicked off their shoes and enjoyed a beautiful ceremony on the beach on this gorgeous September Day. Scott is absolutely IN LOVE with Rebecca, which you can see immediately. He truly has that sparkle in his eye when he looks at her. She definitely found the right one. 🙂

From there, we took some more pictures on the beach. I could not stop photographing Rebecca! Between her sparkly dress and the way the sun was hitting her – it was awesome! And she knew how to pose, too! This is a woman who knows her angles. 😉

The reception that followed was super laid back and chill, with tons of dancing (Rebecca in her cute party dress!). Fun details like passed sushi and cigars for the guys made it extra special.

I snuck Scott and Rebecca out for a night shot at twilight, and we got the most amazing night shot with their wedding flutes. They loved it, and they had it enlarged to hang in their home. 🙂

When the party ended, everyone went out for a night of fun on the island. The party continued!

I love Rebecca and Scott ‘s family… I’ve actually heard that her sister is the next to go! Hopefully I’ll have the honor of being their wedding photographer as well!
