Congratulations Kaitlyn and Alex!
It was a cloudy day in April when we met with Kaitlyn and Alex at OceanCliff in Newport, Rhode Island on their wedding day. Fortunately for photographers, cloudy weather doesn’t mean anything to worry about – in fact, it’s the opposite! It often leads to stunning photography, and we think that this day was no exception. Kaitlyn and Alex’s wedding day was beautiful. We started the day off meeting with Kaitlyn and her bridesmaids at the Gate House as they got ready. We could tell right away they share such a sweet friendship. Same as well with Alex and his groomsmen. What a wonderful thing it is to be surrounded by so many people who genuinely care about you! That’s one of our favorite aspects about weddings, especially when we get to capture that love on camera.
The couple styled their wedding in soft pinks and creams, contrasted with dark midnight blues. It was a perfectly romantic palette for a couple very much in love.
