Jennifer and Michael’s Authentic Clam Bake Wedding | Saunderstown, Rhode Island

We are so happy to share Jennifer and Michael’s laid-back and intimate wedding on the blog! With just family and close friends invited, it was a small wedding but not lacking in anything, especially love for the new bride and groom! Jennifer and Michael, along with their guests, gathered at Smith Ferry Church in Saunderstown, Rhode Island. It is such a cute and ideal chapel, perfect for their ceremony. It was made even more special with their daughter playing the role of flower girl. (And can you believe that Jennifer and Michael just welcomed another daughter into the family just a few months before the wedding? She looks amazing!)

After the ceremony, the couple and their guests ventured to a house they had rented to begin their reception- an authentic clam bake! It was a relaxing celebration, full of friend, family, good conversation, and children playing in the lawn all in front of the gorgeous backdrop of the ocean. After fresh lobster and clams, the night ended with a campfire and we may have had fun with some sparklers before the night was over! It really was a perfect summer day.
