Erin and Michael’s wedding day was an absolute dream, celebrated at the gorgeous Newport Harbor Island Resort in Newport, RI. With breathtaking waterfront views and a charming lighthouse in the background, the couple exchanged vows on the lawn in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The lighthouse created a timeless and picturesque backdrop, adding a touch of romance to their special day.

Erin wore a stunning gown with delicate ruched sleeves, while Michael looked dashing in a light blue suit that perfectly complemented the coastal surroundings. Erin’s bouquet, featuring pink, white, and coral roses, added a vibrant pop of color, enhancing the romantic atmosphere.

One of the most unique details of the day was the watercolor invitation suite, which featured a beautiful illustration of the lighthouse—a perfect nod to their venue. Erin and Michael were drawn to Newport Harbor Island Resort for its incredible views and stunning photo opportunities, with the Newport Lighthouse and bridge serving as a breathtaking backdrop.

Their September wedding felt like a fairy tale come to life, and the coastal setting provided the ideal atmosphere for their celebration of love.

Congratulations, Erin and Michael!

Newport Harbor Island Resort Wedding Inspiration

Newport Harbor Island Resort is one of Rhode Island’s premier wedding venues, offering breathtaking waterfront views and an elegant setting perfect for any wedding style. Whether you’re envisioning a grand ballroom reception or a romantic outdoor ceremony by the ocean, this venue blends natural beauty with exceptional service to create an unforgettable experience.

With stunning coastal backdrops and personalized touches, it’s the ideal location for a truly memorable seaside wedding.

A Tip for Our Couples…

When planning your wedding reception, consider low floral centerpieces. Not only do they allow your guests to easily chat and connect without tall arrangements obstructing their view, but they also help create a more intimate and inviting atmosphere.

While taller centerpieces can be stunning, they sometimes compete with conversation, blocking views and making it harder for guests to engage with one another. Low centerpieces can be just as elegant and impactful, adding beauty without disrupting the flow of the reception. Every ballroom and couple’s taste is different, but sometimes, less really is more!

Behind The Camera

Sara Zarrella

Owner & lead photo novelist

Nice to meet you! I’m a pint-sized (frequently caffeinated) fireball of energy, and building genuine connections is at the heart of everything I do. One of the most meaningful parts of what we do is watching our couples go from “I do” to starting families, then returning for newborn and family photography, and even branding sessions as their lives and businesses grow. Being part of every season of your story is truly the heart of what we do.
