Kristen & Seth | Crystal Lake Golf Club Wedding

Kristen and Seth are such wonderful, sweet, and playful people. Capturing their wedding day was equally as fabulous, as it was fun! The two chose to tie the knot in an elegant lakeside wedding ceremony at the Crystal Lake Golf Club in Mapleville, RI. After spending the evening before capturing their rehearsal dinner, we knew their wedding day was going to be one for the books. And, we were right!

The new Mr. and Mrs. Kauffman’s wedding day started with everyone getting ready. When it was time to head to Kristen and Seth’s first look, the girls boarded the trolley they’d rented. Since they only rented one trolley, Kristen sat in the back with her girls and when Seth was brought on board he was blindfolded so he couldn’t see his bride-to-be! It was so funny and it made their first look even more special and unique. After their first look and some portraits, it was time for their ceremony. With a gorgeous backdrop of the lake, Kristen and Seth pledged a lifetime of love and were pronounced man and wife.

Wedding Day Boat Ride

Then, the fun really started! Seth loves to fish, so Kristen and Seth made sure their wedding day timeline included some time for a boat ride around the lake. The guys were able to fish while the bridal party all enjoyed some appetizers, cocktails, and time to themselves to relax. We had a great time along with them on the boat, enjoying the afternoon and the fact that they were married!!! After their boat ride was over, their reception began. Although most receptions are pretty personalized to the couple being married, Seth and Kristen made it even more “them” by enjoying the food they love. Seth wanted a plate of burgers, so that’s what he got! They also had a great time making everyone laugh with their custom Rock Your Booth photo booth setup!

Think outside the box to make your day all about who you are – individually and as a couple. Love fishing? Take a boat out for some portraits or maybe include it in your decor.
