Classic Castle Hill Inn Wedding | Katie & Steve

Katie and Steve are married! With COVID looming over many couples, Katie and Steve decided to get married anyways and planned their event quickly. Because of all of the rescheduling, she and Steve were actually able to book vendors that might not have been available otherwise, including Castle Hill Inn and our SZP team! We met Katie and Steve through Sarah, one of our team members, and it felt like fate! We absolutely loved these two and their classic, seaside Castle Hill Inn wedding day!

Their Castle Hill Inn wedding was stunning. With a waterfront wedding ceremony outdoors and a beautiful tented reception with views of the bay, Katie and Steve couldn’t have asked for a better day. We spent a lot of time capturing them by the Castle Hill Lighthouse and on the edge of the peninsula – one of our favorite places to photograph couples, especially on their wedding day. Congratulations, Katie and Steve! Your day was just amazing!!

A Tip for Our Couples…

A lot of couples exchange gifts on their wedding day, which is always so sweet to photograph. Sometimes these are exchanged in private, or via other wedding party members, or sometimes our couples meet to exchange gifts. For Katie and Steve, Katie got Steve an incredible gift – a guitar – which was SO important to him! Everyone got together to watch him open it and made a huge deal of the gift. Wedding days are notorious for being “all about the bride,” but brides often take time to make their partners feel special, especially if it’s an over the top, personalized gift they’ll love and cherish forever!
