1930's Inspired Ballroom at the Providence G Wedding

Congratulations, Theadora and Joseph! This winter, the newlyweds planned a fun and unique wedding day at the Providence G inspired by their love of the 1930’s. With a black and white color palette and incredible experiences for their guests, Theadora and Joseph truly planned a special celebration we were honored to be a part of!

Theadora and Joseph prepared for their celebration separately before meeting for their traditional church ceremony at St. Thomas Church in Providence RI. The church was full of gorgeous red and white poinsettias and greenery, bringing the holiday vibes into their celebration. It was simply stunning! Afterwards, the newlyweds braved the cold for portraits outside the State House before meeting their guests for an incredible reception at the Ballroom at the Providence G.

Theadora and Joseph found so many unique ways to showcase important traditions to them on their wedding day. One of our favorites was the Italian wedding cake that was actually made right in front of their guests! Italian wedding cakes are traditionally made with light, fluffy sponge cake filled with creamy custard or pastry cream. Beyond incorporating this delicious treat, they also had some great surprises for their guests at the reception! We loved seeing their unique tree sculptures and disposable cameras for their guests to use. Anything that allows your guests to feel more involved in your special day is always fun!

Located in the heart of Providence, Rhode Island, the Ballroom at Providence G is a gorgeous option for your wedding day. The space is open and light, which means that you can truly customize your celebration to fit your vision. Couples can also use their other venues including the Rooftop at Providence G, Sarto and the G Pub into their big day, meaning the possibilities are truly endless!
