Summer Harbor Lights Wedding in Rhode Island

Megan and Devin have tied the knot! This summer, they hosted a delightful and joy-filled wedding day at Harbor Lights in Warwick, RI. When Megan and Devin shared their vision for their big day with us, they expressed a desire for a celebration that would be enjoyable and exciting for everyone in attendance. It’s one of the reasons they selected Harbor Lights as their venue. They provided opportunities for outdoor activities by the waterfront, including a cozy fire pit. Megan and Devin’s wedding day was a blast! It was clear to see how much their guests relished every moment.

Before the beautiful ceremony took place inside one of Harbor Lights’ elegant ballrooms, Megan and Devin shared a special first look in a quiet stairwell. It was a perfect moment for them to steal away together and savor some private, peaceful moments. Following the ceremony, we captured more portraits outdoors with their family and bridal party. The navy and emerald green color scheme they chose for their bridal party created a stunning contrast against the backdrop of Narragansett Bay.

The entire day was a breathtaking blend of sophistication and relaxation. The entire day ensured that Megan, Devin, and their loved ones had a truly memorable and enjoyable celebration. Congratulations to the happy couple, Megan and Devin! Oh and fun fact! Megan’s family is not new to Sara Zarrella Photography as we photographed her sister’s wedding many years ago. She also had our photo booth from Rock Your Booth and did our Red Boot Boudoir sessions with us. We have been photographing Megan’s sister’s family for many years!

Megan and Devin, for instance, had the privilege of having a few children in their families participate by doing a reading during their ceremony. This happens to be one of our preferred methods of incorporating kids into a ceremony. You might contemplate dividing a poem or passage among the children you wish to include – even having them read just a word or two can add a charming and profound touch to the moment!
