Congratulations, Britni and Branden! They planned a romantic summer Harbor Lights wedding day in Warwick, RI. The day had the most gorgeous pastel blue and silver details, which worked perfectly against the waterfront views. It was so good to see Britni and Branden again for their wedding day. We had a great time photographing their engagement session – they even brought a signature move they learned from Tik Tok! They repeated it on their wedding day as newlyweds, which made it even more special to photograph. These two were seriously a joy to work with. A Tip for Our Couples…

When you’re getting married on the water, it’s important to be aware of lighting and your portraits. Waterfront portraits are always gorgeous – but we have to be mindful of the time of day we’re taking them so you get the beautiful, even light that you want in photos. Work with your photographer to determine the best time of day to capture the portraits you want and don’t be surprised if it’s earlier or later than you thought it might be. Britni and Branden’s waterfront portraits had to happen at golden hour, instead of earlier in the day, but they were so worth the wait!
