Intimate Backyard Wedding

Laura and Ben are officially newlyweds!! Their sweet intimate backyard wedding in Foster, RI was a beautiful day. We’re so honored we were there to capture it for them. Laura and Ben chose to tie the knot at a relative’s home in a small ceremony and at home reception. Dan was with them to capture all of their special moments so they’ll remember them forever! After Laura and Ben were engaged at Castle Hill last year, they knew they wanted to keep their wedding day small and private this spring. Their family came together to help them host their celebration, which was so special. It wound up being a perfect day and everyone had a wonderful time celebrating with them!

Through the last year, we’ve seen an influx in smaller, intimate backyard weddings! Honestly, we LOVE these celebrations. These at-home wedding days can be truly private and charming! Because they’re more intimate, we often get to send more time with our amazing couples too! The whole day just has such a chill vibe and you can truly relax and be who you are and you can enjoy the celebration without feeling too drained or overwhelmed. Sounds pretty good to us!

A Tip for Our Couples…

No matter how small (or big) your wedding day is, we want to encourage you to hire a professional photographer. Whether your wedding is 2 hours in your backyard or 8 hours in the heart of Newport, it’s YOUR wedding day and it deserves to be documented. Wedding photos are one of the only reminders of the day you’ll have when it’s all over. After the last year, our team has designed smaller packages for intimate wedding days and elopements because we want you to make sure your special day is preserved forever.
