I’m always thrilled to photograph a special event for old friends! Constantinos (Costa) is an old high school classmate of mine, and I met Dadriana at her brother’s wedding at the Downtown Marriott in Providence, Rhode Island a few years ago. (I also had the pleasure of photographing Dadriana’s brother’s wedding, who recently had twins – congratulations! :-)) Dadriana was a bridesmaid in her brother’s wedding, and we hit it off immediately; she’s full of life and fun – my kind of girl!
As time went on, we had a running joke between all of us because I kept seeing them at a lot of my weddings. I called them the “pro wedding guests”…. Today, they are no longer professional wedding guests – they are the bride and groom! I was so happy to get that phone call when they got engaged. 🙂
On the big day, I met Dadriana at the Downtown Marriott in Providence, Rhode Island and then we headed to Holy Ghost Church in Providence. The bride was a vision in her absolutely gorgeous dress. I was so happy to be a part of their wedding day!
After a beautiful full mass ceremony, we headed to Roger Williams Park for photos. The fall foliage was stunning, and we got some beautiful shots of the happy couple and their families. We were also sure to make a pit stop at Costa’s place of employment for some awesome rooftop photos of just the bride and groom. What a special moment, and what a spectacular view we had from the roof of GTECH!
Rhodes on the Pawtuxet was the most beautiful I’ve ever seen it – EVER. Dadriana and her mother, along with their wonderful vendors, really put together a first class event. The detail in the room was just stunning.
Cocktail hour was followed by a beautiful reception, which featured magnificent décor, great food, and wonderful entertainment. They even had a dessert room, and an afterparty in the champagne lounge with tunes spun by their DJ! 🙂
Costas and Dadriana are such good people, with lots of love between them and their families. We’re so happy for them; they had sweet ceremony, followed by a fantastic party filled with joy. 🙂

Dadriana & Constantinos celebrated their wedding at the Rhodes on the Pawtuxet in Cranston. They styled their wedding using woodland themes and bright pops of colors, including reds, fuchsias, oranges, and golds. They transformed the Rhodes into a magical floral forest, even incorporating ivy wrapped around a handmade wooden canopy, creating the perfect setting to dance and eat surrounded by their closest friends and family. It was a beautiful event and we wish all the best to the happy couple on their anniversary!
