Michelle & Marc – Kirkbrae Country Club – Lincoln, Rhode Island

Since Michelle and Marc live in Massachusetts, we thought it would be perfect to have their engagements session in the Boston Commons. It was a fun day! I learned a bit about each of them that day – one fun fact is that Marc is the youngest of seven!! We made sure to take a photo of a duck statue with 8 little ducks to represent his family (him being the 8th). 🙂

Michelle was a beautiful bride-to-be, very much in love with her groom. Marc is very tall and masculine, but when he’s around Michelle, he’s like a big teddy bear (he glows). This is definitely a man who is smitten. 🙂 After our session, Marc was scheduled to play in a baseball game and I was happy to hear later that his team won! Whoo whoo way to end the day!

The Big Day

Michelle got ready for her big day at the Westin/Omni Hotel in Providence, Rhode Island, and I met her there for some pre-wedding moments. Michelle’s mom was at the hotel, and I got to know her a bit while I was there. She very much loves her daughter and wanted everything to be perfect on her big day. She was very involved with the florals and décor – which turned out to be absolutely gorgeous, with clusters on the tables of unique flowers, and custom linens from Felicia’s Perfect Setting.

After they both said “I do” on the PC Chapel, we took advantage of the perfect fall backdrop. Fun moment: While I was photographing Michelle and Marc, Courtney and David were on their way to a Providence College basketball game and we bumped into each other. 🙂

This beautiful fall afternoon provided the perfect backdrop to their wedding day – it was really stunning. Kirkbrae was transformed, with uplighting and the lovely décor that Michelle and her mother hand-picked. Victor even created a custom song for them! Oh, and Michelle and her mother both made appearances as guest DJs 😉

I instantly fell in love with this couple and their families. Michelle and Marc are very blessed with loving support from both sides. Michelle’s mom even called me after the wedding to express her appreciation! I also heard that the happy couple has recently bought a home. Congratulations to you, and Happy Anniversary!

P.S. Michelle and Marc will be featured in Bliss Magazine this upcoming winter. 🙂
