Happy Anniversary, Beth and Hernando!

I’m thinking of you two today, as you celebrate your first anniversary! 🙂

Beth and Hernando booked their engagement session and wedding day with me over the previous winter prior to their big day. I thought they were great, and I was completely looking forward to doing their wedding. ☺ Beth and Hernando decided to have their engagement shoot in the spring – with the wedding coming up, of course, in September. Because they were getting married at Blithewold Mansion in Bristol Rhode Island, we decided to do their engagement session in Downtown Providence, Rhode Island.

When I got to the city the day of the engagement shoot, I was looking all around for them. Get this – they were standing right in front of me, and I didn’t recognize them! I thought they were handsome and beautiful before, and when I saw them that I was so surprised – they both got in wedding day shape through a diet called “Body by Vi”. They went on a journey together to get healthy for their wedding, like lots of brides and grooms. They both did a 90-day challenge; they were so successful and loved it so much that it’s now a big part of their lifestyle and they work for the company as sales reps! AND they did so well as sales reps that they won a BMW (which made an appearance as the getaway car at their wedding :-))!

While we walked around the city capturing their engagement photos, we definitely bonded over getting healthy, since I’m trying to get healthier, too. They even joined me for one of my anti-gravity yoga classes a few weeks later!

The Big Day

You couldn’t have asked for better weather and LOVE! You can tell these two are in deeply in love – the way they look at each other is really special.

After a gorgeous ceremony in the garden (complete with a rose-giving), we were able to use all of the grounds for photos, which was so much fun. Such a beautiful location! 🙂

The reception was a party and a half! The happy couple partied the night away with their friends and family (they all enjoyed the Photo Booth, too!) What a blast!

When the sun began to go down, I realized it was happening really fast, so I ran into the tent and grabbed them. We got “the shot” and as soon as we got it, the sun went down in a flash…phew – just in the time! It’s their favorite image of the wedding, and that’s the one they got enlarged and framed (nothing like running out for a photo as fast as the “speed of light”!).

Beth and Hernando continue to live a healthy lifestyle and even moved to the west coast. Hopefully by now they have won even more BMWs – they deserve it!
