Teresa & Keith – Belle Mer – Newport, Rhode Island

Happy Anniversary, Teresa and Keith!

I met with Teresa and her bridal party as they prettied themselves for the day’s festivities at Belle Mer in the Island House Suite. If you never been in the Island House bridal suite, let us tell you — the room is breathtaking – all white, beautiful large windows, all overlooking Narragansett Bay. While getting ready, Teresa was presented with a little blue Tiffany box from her groom! What girl doesn’t like to see that little blue box with the white ribbon? ☺ Lots of “OHHH”s and “AWWW”s as she opened her fabulous gift from Keith.

Teresa and Keith first laid eyes on each other for their “first look” on the back lawn overlooking the bay. Just exquisite! We had so much fun before the guests arrived – very carefree and laid back, with lots of romantic moments between Teresa and Keith. We couldn’t help but notice the beautiful ring that was sparkling in the sunlight – it was simply stunning. (Sshh.. don’t tell but I even took a picture of it on my iPhone to send to my then-boyfriend and now Fiancé! Props to Keith and Theresa for helping pick out our ring!)

Teresa and Keith’s ceremony took place outdoors at Belle Me while the sun was starting to set. After they said “I do”, everyone continued to celebrate well into the evening. The guests were treated with a candy bar and surrounded by beautiful up-lighting; no detail was overlooked. Theresa even did a wardrobe change – switching to a party dress so she could dance the night away with her guests.

Theresa and Keith were really hoping for a night photo with the Newport Bridge in the background, but shortly after everyone was ushered inside for the reception, a torrential downpour was upon us – causing power outages and flooding across the bay (thankfully we were shielded!). However, luck was on their side and as the party came to an end…. Mother Nature swooped in and saved the day… the skies cleared and we were able to get their Newport Bridge shot!  They do say it is good luck for it to rain on your wedding day! So luck has it that the rain blessed a healthy marriage.

Congratulations Teresa and Keith — we are thinking of you today.
