Happy Anniversary, Jaina and Joe!

Sara was thrilled when Jaina and Joe decided to do their engagement session on Block Island. Joe’s grandmother grew up there, and he had fond memories of childhood summer vacations spent playing on the beach. Sara’s family also has a home on Block Island, and she and Joe bonded over their memories of spending summers in such a beautiful place. We traveled all over the island to special spots Joe had in mind, and finished our session at the well-known Harborside Hotel with a few celebratory cocktails. ☺ Yum Yum – nothing wrong with a little Bloody Mary after a job well done!

 

On Jaina and Joe’s Big Day, we met up with Jaina at her home, where she had the pleasure of being with her close friends and family. It was obvious that Jaina has a close bond with parents and brother; it was beautiful to see them all interact and prepare for the day’s events. Jaina even presented each family member with a gift along with a handwritten note. How cute!

After the full mass ceremony, it was time to head to the reception venue, the Tiffany Ball Room in Norwood Massachusetts, but not before we made a pit stop (ok, fine – it was a planned pit stop ;-)) at Patriot Place, where we did all the bridal party portraits! We used Gillette Stadium as our backdrop – and a few of the images were even featured in Southern New England Weddings Magazine. We must say that was a very cool experience for us to photograph around the stadium!

Now it was time to really head to the Tiffany Ball Room and dance the night away. What a fun night, with some unexpected moments! Jaina is a jazzercise Instructor and several of her students (who are also friends) were in attendance. What a treat when they burst out in an impromptu routine led by Mrs. Jaina. ☺ Jazzercising away, Jaina led the crew ☺
