Michaela and Todd’s Engagement Session

Michaela and Todd are Rhode Island natives, currently living in Massachusetts. It was only fitting to drive to Wakefield to do their engagement sessions at the church where they are going to be married! Michaela and Todd have been a joy to work with! They are one of the most genuine couples we have ever had the pleasure of photographing. So much fun – they brought their adorable dog with them for some playful shots! Michaela and Todd were so pleased with the engagement photos that they chose one for their Save the Dates.

Their Wedding Day

On the big day, we met with Michaela at her home, where we got to see her stylish dress (complete with pockets!). Assistant Maria met up with Todd and their pup at his home. We love having the privilege to share in each bride’s special day from start to finish. Sara was flattered by Michaela and Todd, who could not thank her enough for being their photographer. 🙂

After a beautiful church wedding, we reveled in what a sunny day it was – especially for April!

Traveling back North from Wakefield, we stopped for a few photos on the State House steps in Providence, Rhode Island before arriving at the Renaissance Hotel in Providence, Rhode Island for a cocktail hour and reception. Luke Renchan, of Renchan Entertainment, provided fun, upbeat music – as well as plenty of love songs including Todd and Michaela’s Wedding Song, “Make You Feel My Love” by Adele.

Michaela’s parents were also celebrating a special occasion in addition to their daughter’s nuptials; it was their 35th Wedding Anniversary! Michaela arranged for her parents to share in a spotlight dance recreating their own wedding festivities. ☺
