Kimya & Jason – Where are they now

This was wedding number two for Kimya and Jason! I was lucky enough to shoot their engagement/ lifestyle session AND their first wedding in California! They are a beautiful couple and I have been thrilled to be part of it all.

The first wedding, on October 16th, 2010, was influenced by Kimya’s Persian culture – a Victorian style celebration with lots of ivory, pink, creamy colors. It took place in a mansion with beautiful rolling hills as a backdrop. An absolutely gorgeous event.

This event on June 12, 2011, was to be a traditional Italian-Catholic wedding with a real city feel. The color palette was very different – check out vibrant blues of her bridesmaid dresses!  We got some really fun shots in the city that day before heading to Kirkbrae Country Club.

Because I did Kimya and Jason’s engagement and first wedding shoots, by the time this wedding rolled around, I felt like part of the family because I knew everyone so well!  So funny – before the ceremony in California, I asked both Kimya and Jason if they were nervous.  Kimya was ready to rock – no nerves at all.  Jason on the other hand – very nervous!  But in Rhode Island, the roles were reversed and Kimya was the nervous one!

After the ceremony, they partied the night away with Victor from Party Time!  Everyone really enjoyed themselves, and I am excited to say that I will be photographing Jason’s sister’s wedding in November.  Can’t wait to see them all again!

Kimya & Jason are one of the reasons why we love our jobs, we get to watch families grow!!  After their engagement shoot in Providence, their first wedding in California and their second wedding at Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln,RI, you can definitely say that we have gotten to know each other well.  So of course we were excited when Kimya called and said she wanted to bring in her newborn Zellio to keep the relationship going. Kimya chose to participate in our Chapter One Program and capture his ever growing personality.  And by the looks of it, Zellio definitely has his parents ability to work the camera!
