Patti and Matt came to us early on in their planning stages … they really did their homework! They researched everyone who would be a part of planning their wedding and decided the big day would be 11 July, 2009.
That morning Patti emerged donning her white, Brides of Boston wedding gown and hot pink shoes, arms extended out to her family proclaiming, “I’m getting married!!!”
Mother Nature gave in, smiled down and blessed the day with beautiful weather. This was welcomed considering this Rhode Island summer has been unusually wet and dreary.
Family and friends gathered for a 3 o’clock ceremony took at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Cumberland, Rhode Island. The flowers, provided by Twigs Florist, were accented with Patti’s own hot pink and they adorned both the church and OceanCliff.
Patti and her florals were also featured in the 2010 and 2011 issue of Southern New England Weddings for Twigs Floral advertisement.
Patti and Matt chose to have most of their formal portraits taken right there at Ocean Cliff. Patti did have a request, however, and that was for a pit-stop along Ocean Drive for a very special portrait at Patti’s favorite gazebo. Portraits were followed by cocktails promptly at 7pm.

Pamela D’Orsi Ryan of PDR Events, the on-site event planner that special day, kept the ball rolling and everything ran smoothly for the happy couple … the went off without a single hitch!
