Congratulations to Holley and Steven! Holley and Steven had a truly stunning Castle Hill Inn wedding day in Newport, RI. Drawn to the lovely lawn and the beautiful water views, Holley and Steven planned an elegant day to celebrate with their friends and family. They chose a sweet color scheme of pastel blues and pinks to compliment the whites and greens covering Castle Hill Inn – which made us all think of the beautiful water around us. We love wedding days here because they’re full of the salt air we love and provide such beautiful spots for our couples to be photographed. A Tip for Our Couples…

While Holley and Steven chose a gorgeous, classic spot in Rhode Island for their wedding day, they opted for a less traditional moment on their wedding day. Holley and Steven wanted to make sure they had time alone together. Most couples go, go, go on their wedding days to finish all their photos and visit all their guests, but Holley and Steven made sure they took a moment to soak it all in (which we LOVE!).

They decided to go off alone after their ceremony and enjoy a small picnic (with cocktails) for a few minutes. Holley and Steven asked our team to be with them and Dan took the chance to capture some more casual moments between the newlyweds – not posed. It was so special to watch them just enjoy being together as husband and wife. We want to encourage all of our beautiful couples to do the same on their wedding day!
