Happy Anniversary, Ellen and Kevin!
I remember these two and how much in love they are – like it was yesterday!
We had their engagement session in Providence, Rhode Island, because the wedding was to be in Newport. It’s fun to do engagement photos opposite from the type of location the wedding will be! We had a great time that day, and Ellen and Kevin selected some of the photos from that day for really cute Save the Dates. 🙂
On the big day, I met Ellen across the street from the Atlantic Beach Club where she was getting ready with her girls – and some mimosas (my kind of girl! 😉 ). Ellen looked gorgeous, and the girls were really pretty in their black dresses with purple and blue flowers. Ellen’s bouquet was a lovely pastel, which was a nice contrast to her bridesmaids’ flowers. Oh, and she got a fabulous gift from her groom (a Tiffany blue box is a way to a women’s heart).
After a full mass ceremony, we took pictures on the beach, and at Salve Regina – we even got to go inside at Salve and use their beautiful staircase… so grand! It was just gorgeous – what a great place to take special photos!
Sweet Moment Alert: At one point, I walked away and turned back to see them having a moment. They didn’t know it, but I photographed Ellen and Kevin snuggling and stealing kisses as we waited to load up in the trolley. 🙂
Oh and get this… .Ellen surprised Kevin with bagpipe players!
The reception was super fun – the guests especially LOVED the photo booth – there was a line out the door!
I miss you guys, and hope to see you all soon 🙂
