Casey and Shannon met and dated in college and eventually life happened and their life paths lead them in different directions. After some time spent establishing their careers, Shannon’s curiosity moved her to look up her college flame. With match dot com, e-harmony and modern-day love, it’s no surprise that Facebook is playing its part in reuniting hearts that belong together. They “friended” each other on Facebook and have since been making their history.

Casey recently did a Red Boot Session with us and the following weekend we all went to Newport to capture their magic in a Partner Shot Session. Casey and Shannon will be making it official on July 17, 2010 at Gracie’s in Providence. We chose Newport to offset the Providence location and sort of change it up a bit. They’ve been taking professional dance lessons so that they can tear up a rug on the big day and while I was shooting, they were bustin’ out their moves for me and my camera and dancing in the streets of Newport!

What a wonderful, fun, playful and happy couple they make and I am so privileged in my work to be able to bear witness to the displays of the strongest emotion in the book! I love to see love blossom and bloom all over the place and my vocation gives me that. Marriage gives you the only family member you can choose!
