Alexandra and David | Newport Beach House Wedding | Newport, RI

Weddings

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs.! Alexandra and David planned a low key Newport Beach House wedding for this April and we loved every minute. Having to move their wedding a few times due to Covid, they both were finally about to become a Mr. and Mrs. When we think of a couple who’s all about having a relaxed and fun wedding day, we automatically think of these two. From the time they met for their first look on the hill of daffodils to their last dance, you could tell that Alexandra and David were just so happy to be married! They planned a romantic beach front wedding ceremony on the patio of the Newport Beach House. It was followed by a great reception party with their guests. Everything felt so “them” the entire day. Honestly, it was truly an honor to watch Alexandra and David tie the knot. Thank you for letting us be a part of your incredible day!

Newport Beach House Weddings

The Newport Beach House is a favorite Longwood wedding venue in Rhode Island. Located on one of the most famous beaches in RI, Newport Beach House is full of both laid back and elegant style. With access to the beach, beautiful terrace options and stunning lounges, there are spaces for every style event celebration. As wedding photographers, we love the clean and neutral style of the décor because it truly lends itself to beautiful portrait work. If you’re dreaming of a beachfront wedding, consider the Newport Beach House! You won’t be disappointed.

A Tip for Our Couples

In Newport, RI during the spring, we have beautiful daffodils bloom every single year. It’s something we all know about and love as Rhode Islanders. Alexandra and David knew that they wanted portraits with the daffodils because it’s such a special time here. We LOVE that idea! Whether it’s tulip season, the yacht clubs are opening, or Pride is happening – decide if you want to lean into that special event during your portraits and wedding day! This is such a great way to capture unique wedding portraits that truly tell the story of the location your getting married at and your special day. Make sure you look up what special events might be happening around your venue so you can plan accordingly! Some events you may want to incorporate (for example blooming seasonal flower fields or if a local carnival is setting up) but some events may warrant additional planning if it creates traffic (for example parades or if there is a convention or show going on like the boat show or Memorial Day/veterans/pride parades) plan accordingly.

Owner & lead photo novelist

Nice to meet you! I’m a pint-sized (frequently caffeinated) fireball of energy, and building genuine connections is at the heart of everything I do. One of the most meaningful parts of what we do is watching our couples go from “I do” to starting families, then returning for newborn and family photography, and even branding sessions as their lives and businesses grow. Being part of every season of your story is truly the heart of what we do.
