A Tip for Our Couples…

When you build your wedding day timeline, there’s one thing you need to be super aware of: the sunset. Depending on the time of year that you get married, sunset will vary. In the winter (and after Daylight Savings Time), sunsets are much earlier in the day than the summer or even fall. If you’re hoping for outdoor portraits, you need to work closely with your photographer to figure out how to make that happen. It may require you to move your ceremony up or be more open to a first look (read about why they’re a great option here!). Your photographer can help you decide how to prioritize what you want – and where to make it happen at your venue – based on the time of year and sunset on the day of your wedding!
