Congratulations, Samantha and Brian! These Providence College sweethearts came into Newport, RI for their big day and celebrated with a stunning day at Gurney’s Newport Resort. Like so many couples these days, this super sweet duo had to postpone their original celebration thanks to COVID. But they planned a day that made up for it after a long wait. Samantha and Brian decided to have their ceremony at Providence College since so much of their love story and relationship took place there. A Tip for Our Couples…
When you start to look at venues to tie the knot, think about accommodations nearby, too! If your guests are coming from out of town, starting to plan ahead to make their trip easier will help everyone have a better weekend. Some locations, like Gurney’s, have accommodations on site. Many places in Newport actually have a two day minimum, so it’s really easy to have guests come in for the rehearsal dinner and the big day! We’re all for making your wedding day into a weekend!!
