Becky & Brad | Hotel Viking Wedding | Newport, RI

Congratulations, Becky and Brad! Their spring Hotel Viking wedding in Newport, Rhode Island was a joyful celebration that we loved being a part of. Becky and Brad tied the knot in a beautiful spring wedding with a traditional church ceremony. In fact, the chapel was one of the things that they loved most about their venue. The high ceiling and beams blew them away – and it was something we made sure to include in some of their portraits after they became husband and wife!

After their ceremony, Becky and Brad moved with their guests to the reception space at the Hotel Viking. They had access to the patio and filled the ballroom with gorgeous pink and white details. It was the perfect vibe for a spring wedding day! Their entire day was a wonderful time – from their sweet first look to portraits around downtown Newport RI, Becky and Brad planned the most beautiful spring wedding!

Hotel Viking Weddings

Located in Downtown Newport, the Hotel Viking is an incredible icon for locals and guests alike. The hotel rests on top of Historic Hill, the original center point of the town. With a beautiful chapel and elegant reception spaces, it’s a gorgeous option for couples looking for a modern event. Plus, the Hotel Viking is an operating hotel, so you can book room blocks for your guests – making your event that much easier for everyone attending to celebrate with you! If you’re planning a Newport, RI wedding day, be sure to add Hotel Viking to your list of possible venues!!

A Tip for Our Couples…

Becky and Brad had Becky’s brother officiate their wedding. It was so special to see them all together, and to have someone they know and love help them tie the knot. If you’re not sure who could officiate your wedding, consider asking a friend or a family member. It’s a wonderful way to involve your loved ones in your special day. Don’t forget to ask them to step out of the way when your ceremony is done and it’s time for your first kiss as newlyweds, too! Read more tips for your officiant on our podcast here and here!
