Springtime Kirkbrae Country Club Wedding

Samantha and Gregory are married! This spring, the newlyweds tied the night at the gorgeous Our Lady of the Rosary in Providence, RI during a traditional church wedding before celebrating the night away at Kirkbrae Country Club. It was the perfect romantic day for our sweet laidback couple. When Samantha and Gregory began planning, they knew they wanted to keep the stress low throughout the planning process – for themselves and their guests.

They settled on the always gorgeous (and convenient!) Kirkbrae Country Club for their reception and it was definitely the right choice! Kirkbrae has some of the most beautiful gardens in the are and since Samantha and Gregory really wanted to focus on their portraits as newlyweds, it worked out perfectly!! For the rest of the celebration, Samantha and Gregory chose a neutral and simple color palette featuring lots of ivories, greens, and beautiful champagne for the bridesmaids. Their springtime Kirkbrae Country Club wedding was truly gorgeous and a wonderful spring celebration! Congratulations, to the new Mr. and Mrs.!

A Tip for Our Couples…

If you’re having a traditional church wedding, consider adding time to your timeline for portraits in the church. It’s not as common to have our couples want portraits in the church, but they can be a really meaningful addition to your final gallery of images since that’s the place you officially became husband and wife! Samantha and Gregory really wanted to capture portraits where they tied the knot, as well as the Pedestrian Bridge – which was another important place to them as a couple. Before your final meeting with your photographer, sit down together and figure out which places in the area are special to you as a couple. Work with them to figure out where you can make time for portraits on your wedding day! It’s so worth it in the end.
