Jenna and Ty | Newport Beach House Wedding | Newport, RI

Congratulations, Jenna and Ty! They planned a relaxing and fun Newport Beach House wedding day to kickstart the next chapter of their life. From the beginning, Jenna and Ty made it clear that they loved the natural, relaxed vibes Newport Beach House gives off with the modernized flair – and they knew they were going to want a big party with their loved ones when the formalities were over. They didn’t disappoint. Not only was their reception something to remember, all of the little details they planned came together for a unique wedding day. One of our favorites was Ty’s custom jacket with an inside pattern featuring his uncle and grandfather (who sadly have passed). It was something special and showed just how deeply this couple loved their family. Jenna and Ty’s wedding was truly beautiful from start to finish, and we’re so happy we could celebrate with them!

Newport Beach House Weddings

Newport Beach House is a favorite Longwood wedding venue in Rhode Island for locals and destination weddings alike. Located on one of the most famous beaches in RI, Newport Beach House has the perfect combination of a laid back and elegant style. With access to the beach, beautiful terrace options and stunning lounges, there are spaces for every celebration. If you’re dreaming of a beachfront wedding, make sure to visit the Newport Beach House!

A Tip for Our Couples….

Photography on your wedding day is all about finding the perfect time for the locations you want to use. Beach weddings are beautiful, but often occur during the parts of the day where the sun will create harsh shadows – especially if there’s no clouds in the sky. It’s important to think about when you’ll be doing portraits and what the light will be doing – and adjusting accordingly.

This might mean that you need to plan to leave your reception for golden hour portraits (especially on the beach!) when light will be softer. You may want to consider a second location or indoor options for family formals and wedding party portraits if your ceremony is outdoors midday with no shade or coverage. Be flexible and talk with your photographer about what locations matter the most for which moments on your day so they can help you build a timeline that meets your portrait goals!
