Congratulations, Mackenzie and Ryan! They planned a relaxed garden party at the beautiful Chanler at Cliff Walk in Newport, RI to say “I do”. It has to be one of our favorite summer weddings this year! Their entire day was about having a chill day with their family and friends along the waterfront, and they couldn’t have picked a better place to do it! Every detail was effortless – especially the gorgeous mismatched bridesmaid dresses. They looked amazing together and completely supported MacKenzie’s beautiful wedding gown.

Beyond the details, their day was so full of emotion. Mackenzie and Ryan were thrilled to finally be getting married and be with their family and friends or at least celebrating their marriage (as the tied the knot with a small group last year). They had a first look and just wait until you see Ryan’s reaction to MacKenzie! It was beyond special. But it didn’t end there! Throughout the night, their family and friends made it so clear how much they love these too. And when Ryan danced with his former nanny and his mom, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. What a special moment!

A Tip for Our Couples…

Wedding day timelines can be stressful. There’s so many “must have” photos throughout the day from moments to actual family portraits. One of the best things our couples can do is to elect someone to help with family and group photos. Have it be someone that knows your families pretty well and can help track down whoever is needed so we can keep moving! If you have to go find a groomsman or a family member, we have to stop completely because our couple is pretty much in every photo that day! Instead, elect someone else to do that for you! We can keep moving as we find Uncle Joe who wandered off. We want you to get every photo you dreamed about, so if we can keep the family formals moving, they’re more likely to happen!
