Rebecca & Sam | The Chanler at Cliff Walk Wedding | Newport, RI

Rebecca and Sam had a GORGEOUS, fall Chanler at Cliff Walk wedding. Their intimate wedding weekend in Newport, RI was all about gathering their closest friends and family for a weekend away to get them hitched! Seriously, in the middle of COVID, a classic Rhode Island wedding getaway was just what everyone needed! Because the Chanler at Cliff Walk can accommodate overnight guests, Rebecca and Sam encouraged their guests to make a trip out of it. And, their small crew did!

They chose to have an outdoor wedding, overlooking the waterfront. Sayles Livingston Designs created an incredibly beautiful fall inspired setup for their ceremony. Because she used the deep reds and oranges of the fall, everything popped perfectly against the blues and greens of the waterfront in Newport. Honestly, it was seriously beautiful… a great reminder for our couples to lean into the season they’re getting married in! With a friend marrying Rebecca and Sam, their small wedding day felt truly intimate and focused on what matters most.

Congratulations on your gorgeous, fall Chanler at Cliff Walk wedding day, Rebecca and Sam! We wish you a lifetime of love!

The Chanler at Cliff Walk Weddings

Wedding days at the Chanler at Cliff Walk are always a great time – and we LOVE capturing them! The Chanler is a fabulous, luxury hotel in Newport, RI overlooking Easton’s Beach and it’s seriously STUNNING. Often, many couples tell us they’re drawn to the outdoor landscaping and oceanside view – not to mention, how classy it looks inside. Frankly, it provides us numerous options for wedding portraits, all with a stellar (and classic!) Rhode Island view! A Tip for Our Couples…

Today’s tip is a super simple one… have someone you love get ordained and perform your ceremony. It immediately makes everything feel more personalized and intimate. Honestly, it’s easy to get ordained online these days, so just about anyone could perform your ceremony! And while you’re at it, think about writing personalized vows. It’s another easy way to make your ceremony perfect for you two. Ceremonies are the most important part of any wedding day. Find ways to make them your own!
