For Allie and Josh, the idea of postponing their wedding day because of the pandemic wasn’t really an option. They knew they were going to get married this year – they just didn’t know what it would look like given everything going on. But, with the help of their incredible vendors and Allie’s mother, an elegant Blithewold Mansion wedding day was planned to celebrate the start of their new chapter together.

Because Allie and Josh are so busy working tirelessly in the medical field right now, they leaned heavily on the support of their family and vendors as their dream wedding day came to life. Blithewold Mansion is an absolutely stunning venue in Bristol, RI and wound up being a gorgeous spot for them to tie the knot – even amongst all of the restrictions and guidelines for gatherings right now. They trusted the process even though, looking at the photos, you’d never know it, every single guideline was followed. And everyone had such a great time! We’re so grateful that we could photograph Allie and Josh on the biggest day of their lives.

A Tip for Our Couples…

We love encouraging our couples to sneak out of their reception for a little bit and get some last portraits as the sun sets. Although it’s time away from your party and your guests, being open to these last portraits is a great way to get some extra photos at your beautiful venue. The light changes, and everything around it changes, too – in the best way possible! If you’re open to coming out with us for the last portraits of the night, we are SO about it!!
