Samantha and Michael | Ballroom at the Providence G Wedding | Providence RI

Samantha and Michael are married! Inspired by a sleek and classy New Year’s Eve celebration, Samantha and Michael planned a late December wedding at the Ballroom at the Providence G. Their wedding day featured black, white, and gold decor, two wedding day looks for both the bride and groom, incredible moments inspired by their families and gorgeous portraits around Providence RI.

To start the day, the guys prepared at the Providence Biltmore and the ladies prepared at Samantha and Michael’s home. Afterwards, Samantha and Michael met for their first look inside the Providence State House. They loved all of the marble in the space, feeling as if it perfectly accented their classy wedding day! Samantha showed off her elegant winter wedding dress – with gorgeous long sleeves with lace accents – to Michael and they laughed, enjoying the start of their wedding day.

State House Wedding Portraits

Portraits of the almost newlyweds took place in and outside of the State House, with their bridal party braving the cold for photos too! We loved Samatha’s bridesmaids’ ivory gowns and the white fur shawls she gifted them. Samantha and Michael welcomed their family and friends to the Pavilion at Grace for their wedding ceremony. During the ceremony, their officiant shared the story of how they met (through Samantha’s aunt!) and they also had family members complete readings. It was clear that celebrating their family was important to them.

Afterwards, everyone moved to the Ballroom at the Providence G for their reception. Samantha and Michael quickly fell in love with this venue because of the black and white decor and classy vibes. Their reception featured more gorgeous ivory flowers, gold rimmed plates, and even a rooftop seating area for guests to enjoy. But that wasn’t all! Samantha and Michael surprised their guests with a second look. Michael swapped into a white suit jacket for a classy upgrade to his tux and Samantha had a playful short white dress with black and white sneakers to party all night! Of course, that meant more rooftop portraits for their party outfits – yay!

Congratulations, Samantha and Michael! Your wedding day was so beautiful – coming together perfectly for your vision!

Ballroom at the Providence G Weddings

Located in the heart of Providence, Rhode Island, the Ballroom at Providence G is a gorgeous option for your wedding day. The space is open and light, which means that you can truly customize your celebration to fit your vision. Couples can also use their other venues including the Rooftop at Providence G, Sarto and the G Pub into their big day, meaning the possibilities are truly endless!

A Tip for Our Couples…

For certain wedding schedules, hiring two wedding photographers instead of one can be a wise choice. Depending on the timeline structure, having two photographers ensures comprehensive coverage of the day’s events, as we can’t be in two places at once! When planning your timeline, discuss the details with your photographer to determine if additional coverage is needed. If you’re uncertain, our podcast episode on choosing between one or two wedding photographers might offer valuable insights!
