Steve popped THE question to Renee!!!

Engagement / Lifestyle

Renee and Steve will be getting married on July 30, 2010 at the Boston Harbor Hotel at Rowes Wharf in Boston, Massachusetts.
Steve and I grew up spending our summers with our families on Block Island – so photographing his engagement session with his soon-to-be bride, Renee, was super special to me.
Steve was working as an intern at Renee’s mother’s office. She invited him over for dinner one evening and he never left, as he and Renee talked for hours. He quickly became part of the family and Renee and Steve’s conversation continues to this day! (It’s the longest date in history! haha)
Since Block Island is so special to all of us, we naturally assumed it would be best to photograph their Engagement Session there but, as it turned out, the perfect locale was on the mainland – right in Steve’s Dad’s own breathtaking backyard!
I also had the pleasure of photographing Steve’s brother Lee’s marriage to Crystal and more recently, I have been documenting the growth of their new family! You can read about their story in our Where Are They Now? section of our blog: Crystal and Lee at OceanCliff. Now I can’t wait to now see Renee and Steve’s story being written – it’s very exciting!!!
Steve’s Dad couldn’t resist the romance!!!
Here he is with his lovely girlfriend.

Behind The Camera

Sara Zarrella

Owner & lead photo novelist

Nice to meet you! I’m a pint-sized (frequently caffeinated) fireball of energy, and building genuine connections is at the heart of everything I do. One of the most meaningful parts of what we do is watching our couples go from “I do” to starting families, then returning for newborn and family photography, and even branding sessions as their lives and businesses grow. Being part of every season of your story is truly the heart of what we do.
