Cara and Sean | Providence Public Library Wedding | Providence, RI

Congratulations to Cara and Sean! Their chic wedding day was so much fun and in a location we loved getting to explore: the Providence Public Library. Cara and Sean also loved the architecture of the Providence building, and we have to admit, so did we! We captured some truly beautiful and unique portraits during their celebration. Cara and Sean held their ceremony in the Grand Hall, with a stunning view of the indoor courtyard. It was a dramatic and elegant way to start the day. Afterwards, it was time for their party in the courtyard and Ship Room, filled with simple white and green centerpieces and place settings. The space for a band and dancing were super important to Cara and Sean – and the library provided a great option for that, having the band above the dance floor. Everything came together beautifully for the newlyweds! We’re so happy we could be with them to document their celebration.

Providence Public Library Wedding

In the heart of Downtown Providence, the public library is a beautiful option for elegant modern weddings. Containing architecture from the 1900s, stunning marble floors, and incredible views, it’s a dream venue for those who love the city. They offer a variety of rental packages, so whether you’re hosting a larger event or a more intimate one, there’s an option for you. The Providence Public Library is a gorgeous wedding venue for history-lovers and Providence locals alike!

A Tip for Our Couples

When couples plan a first look, they usually envision the bride approaching the groom. But, for Sean and Cara, we all thought it would be more romantic to have Sean walk to Cara at the top of one of the staircases in the library. It was magical and just as meaningful this way. Their beautiful first look is a great reminder that your wedding day is truly about what YOU want. There’s no right or wrong – whether it’s who walks to who during your first look or something else – on your wedding day.
