Saloni & Aaron | Intimate Hindu Wedding at Home| Norfolk MA

Saloni and Aaron had a intimate Hindu wedding at Saloni’s childhood home in Norfolk MA that was filled to the brim with tradition, and it was beautiful. When they reached out to us about capturing their intimate microwedding at home, we were so excited. Saloni began to explain all of the various Hindu traditions that they would be following and we knew it was going to be a beautiful day! From the moment Aaron arrived and was given a traditional welcome by Saloni’s mother to the sweet ceremony performed by a Hindu priestess, their day was filled with good and powerful emotions, and so much love.

To be married in the sunroom of her parents’ home was just an incredible experience for Saloni and Aaron. But, that wasn’t the only thing they used from her parents. Saloni also wore her mother’s lengha (the skirt and drapes)! How special is that? She paired it with a custom made blouse and beautiful pearl necklace. It was a wonderful tribute to her family and the new life ahead of her with Aaron. Her family’s home was just beautiful and the backyard gave us some great options for portraits of the newlyweds and their families. Congratulations Saloni and Aaron! Thank you for letting us be a part of your intimate Hindu wedding day!

Intimate Wedding at Home

Downsized weddings are still popular! We want to encourage them to think about an intimate and relaxed backyard wedding like Saloni and Aaron! Honestly, these at-home wedding days can be private and charming – and a wonderful way to honor your family. Because these celebrations are more intimate, we often get to spend more time with our amazing couples too! Sounds like a win-win all around!

A Tip for Our Couples…

When you’re deciding on the type of food to have at your wedding, consider using a caterer that will cook your meals onsite. This results in much fresher food! Aaron and Saloni had their caterer cook their kabobs on site and they were delicious!! It’s an easy question to ask your potential vendor as you’re going through the booking process. PS, if you want more tips about finding a perfect caterer from an episode of Wedding Secrets Unveiled!, check out our post here
