Kelly & Sean | The Ballroom at Providence G Wedding | Providence, RI

Kelly and Sean hosted a beautifully classic Providence G wedding day on the rooftop and in the ballroom of this incredible downtown venue. Choosing this venue had significant meaning to Kelly and Sean, as it’s where they had their first date. What better place to have your wedding than at a place you already love and feel a sentimental connection! Kelly and Sean knew it was the exact right location for their elegant day! So meant to be!

The two envisioned a day that was classic, romantic, and elegant – but not overdone… and that’s exactly what they got! When we arrived, we learned about all of the amazing personal touches Kelly put together for the day, including gifts for her bridesmaids. It was so special to see all of her hard work make their day even more personalized. Being a DIY bride doesn’t have to be overwhelming (see our tip below!!).

Oh! And, we can’t forget to mention the yummy donuts they chose to have instead of cake! They were delicious!!!! We also got to see another SZP bride because she was one of Kelly’s bridesmaids! Once an SZP bride, always an SZP bride!!! Congratulations again, Kelly and Sean! Your day was simply stunning and we’re thrilled we were able to be there to capture your special day.

Rooftop at the Providence G Wedding

The Rooftop of the Providence G is the perfect location for a couple who loves the city! Overlooking Providence, this venue provides spectacular views, cozy outdoor seating, and fire pits that allow for an event any time of year. Kelly and Sean had their cocktail hour here before moving to the ballroom. Providence G also has a great restaurant which is perfect for a date night while you’re planning your wedding!

A Tip for Our Couples…

Kelly decided that she wanted some of their wedding day to be DIY. And while it’s tempting to have an entire wedding day become Do-It-Yourself, it’s important to be mindful of what your limits are. Your entire day doesn’t have to be DIY for it to be super personalized or special. The small touches can go a long way – like what Kelly did: She used her Cricket to personalize items that she purchased for her bridesmaids and it was super cool and eye-catching! Gifts for her bridesmaids meant a ton and it didn’t become too stressful for her! If you’re thinking about becoming a DIY couple, decide on a few projects that mean the most and focus on those!
