Happy Anniversary, Judy and Pamela!

It was a year ago today that you said, “I Do” 🙂

It was a gorgeous September day, and when I first arrived at the stunning home that Judy and Pamela rented for their occasion, the happy couple was rehearsing for their ceremony. After a quick rehearsal, they went to separate rooms to change and get dolled up in their wedding attire.

Their First Look was so sweet and special. They surprised each other with what they chose to wear on this special day – although, because Judy and Pamela know each other so well, they weren’t really that surprised at all to see what the other was wearing. If I remember correctly, it went something like this: ”wow you look beautiful – but I am not surprised, as I pictured you in something just like that”. 🙂

The First Look is always great for the couple and the guests, because photos are all done before the ceremony even starts – but we were still are able to capture that special moment when the ladies entered the porch for their ceremony, surrounded by their closest friends and family.

Judy’s mother was unable to be with us that day due to an illness, but with the magic of today’s technology, she was able to watch the ceremony from an iPad on a live feed…just perfect has she watched her daughter tie the knot! 🙂 There were also very cute stick figures of Judy’s mom all throughout the house – such a sweet way to include her! Mom was at the bar, playing lawn games, and she even sat for a meal 🙂

The ceremony on the lawn/back porch was beautiful, with their sisters serving as witnesses and signing the marriage license. So much love and support on this day for Judy and Pamela. 🙂

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a lovely celebration, including a specialty cocktail, a lavish buffet, croquet on the lawn, and even a scavenger hunt for the kids!

Matty B played laid-back music throughout the night, and the day ended sweetly, just the way it began. 🙂
