What a spectacular wedding day for Meaghan and Eric! On the big day, Sara met up with Meaghan at the Omni hotel where she was getting ready. The bride-to-be (a self-proclaimed non-emotional girl) cried tears of joy as she put her dress on. She was obviously so happy to be marrying Eric! Meaghan’s dress was so perfect for her – both sophisticated and fun, just like Meaghan. 🙂 (oh – and pockets!)
From the hotel we headed over to Waterman Grill, where the ceremony was held outside on this beautiful summer day. The restaurant is situated on the bay, and as the wedding got underway, we saw a big sign across the bay that said, “Congratulations Meaghan and Eric”! One of Meaghan’s thoughtful family members had placed it there before the wedding. 🙂
After the ceremony, we headed over to a nearby park with the bridal party so that we could get some shots with a more rustic vibe. It was really cool how Meaghan was able to incorporate a rustic look throughout the day! She did a lot of DIY crafts like burlap accents for the napkins, and succulents for favors.
The reception was so much fun, just like Meaghan and Eric – we loved the combination of sophistication and down-to-earth nature of these two! What a great match. 🙂
We were happy to be a part of Meaghan and Eric’s special day, and so thrilled to have gotten to know them. Sara and Meaghan have since bonded over wedding planning – Sara even booked the same band, Ripcord, for her own special day!
