It rained cats and dogs on Lisi and Wes‘ Engagement Session in NYC last summer. The images we got rocked though – it can actually be rather fun to photograph in the rain!

However on September 19, 2009 … Lisi and Wes‘ wedding took place at Astor’s in Newport, RI on a truly splendid day!

Since Lisi hails from New York, this was a Destination Wedding for her. She chose Newport because, as a child, she spent all her summers in Jamestown and loves Rhode Island.

On the wedding day, Lisi got ready at her parent’s home in Jamestown before heading out to be united with Wes!

The day went so well, as Christine Clark of Planned to Perfection was always on top of things and kept it all running like a well-oiled wheel. Mystique was there to rock the house and keep the guests out of their chairs and on the dance floor. It was a great time for everyone!
